yes it will it has about ten times the shelf life or more than gas does,it wont evaporate like gas will and its more stable fuel,as long as it not exposed to extreme cold,it will jell up,where gas wont,but it will last a long time being stored good luck,i hope this helps.

If you clean out the can, be wary of what you use. If you use water, let it dry before filling it. Since diesel engines apply pressure to diesel fuel to ignite it, regular gas can be ignited the same way ONLY to an extent (the extent of which I do not know). Also, consider a diesel fuel stabilizer for long term storage so it won't break down so fast.

Unlike gas that gives off vapers, Diesel is mostly oil and does not evaperate like gas does.
It is also not as explosive as gas and storing it is a lot safer then gas

Yup, gas evaporates. But diesel can "gel" in cold temps.

Yes it will, its' properties are not as evaporative, thus allowing for much longer storage.
