For my birthday my best friend searched everywhere and conveniently found a family that owned a zebra in our area. Weird, I know, but they're my favorite animal:) Her fave however, is the anteater. I'd love to do the same thing for her.

where are you from , that is the sweetest thing to do for your best friend. You ll have to contact ur nearest zoo or you can try in gogle searh where you can get details where you can find a anteater or contact the animal rescue ,All the best ... Dont loose Hope .

Anteaters are found in Mexico, Central America, and tropical parts of South America. But that's an expensive birthday trip!
I would be suprised if you could find a pet anteater, but stranger things have happened. You guys give great presents. Very creative!

Contact your local zoo and ask them. They may know somebody who has an anteater. Also, there may be some wild animal rescue group in your area who may possibly have one.
