why is that music i download skip almost at the end on window media player but not on sonicstage?

Windows Media Player has this thing in it's program code where it starts to load the next song before the one playing is finished. Newer versions try to blend the two songs together for seamless playing. Your computer just might not be able to keep up with it and skips when WMP does that. It might help if you turn off visualizations.
