Once upon a time, in a far away and remote place, lies the Land of Fairies. In this Land was a weird tradition that all fairies are girls and when they grew up, each of them will kiss a crow. The crow will then turn into her prince to form a family with the fairy. The stronger the love between them, the more crow feather would fall off the body of her prince. However, if their love is not strong enough, her prince would turn back into a crow and flew away. Gradually as the fairy stay by herself long enough, she herself would grow back into a mushroom to forever stand loneliness till the end of her days. (The girl fairies originally poped out from mushrooms by the way.) If the fairy and her prince stay together, they would bear crows as descendents.

Among all others was a beautiful fairy whom many have said the crow who would get a kiss from her would be the lucky one. Unfortunately, she was cursed. Whenever there was quarter moon, she would lose her voice. What was even worse, whenever there was new moon, devil would come to snatch her soul, leaving her body in pain and turning it into a monster until the moonlight returned. In order to have no one knew about this, whenever there was new moon, she would lock up herself.

The day came when she finally became a grown up and should need to follow the tradition of kissing a crow. She was really upset about this and did not want to do so. Whenever a crow flew by, she would run away or even throw stones at them (oops! There she goes again, knocked down another one :( ...) because she was afraid that she would not be able to hide from her future husband, her monster face every new moon. If her husband discovered this, he might turn back into a crow and fly away, leaving her with a broken heart. Even if she could keep her husband to stay, she could never stand the guilt of having her children to be born as crows and suffer their destiny. However, choosing to be by herself would leave her lonely for the rest of her life.

One day, a wizard, who lived more than a thousand years, came to her. This wizard was wise and intelligent, but notorious. Most of the fairies would not believe in his teaching and think that he is insane. He told the pretty and miserable fairy not to be sad, for this apparently magical and wonderful Land of Fairies was created by a wicked witch who enjoyed seeing all the cute little fairies marrying crows. If they did not kiss the crow, she would return them into mushrooms to make them pay the price of loneliness. If fairy and her mate enjoyed the fruits of their love, they would bear more crows. What is this but a vicious cycle! However, he said, there is one way out. Far away from the Land of Fairies, on top of Mount Cognitio, is the precious herb called Agnitonis. Eating this herb would grant the fairy free from turning back into mushrooms and become a god. The problem is, not every fairy could digest this herb well enough to have the effect and the way to this mountain i

is very difficult. Some were said to have gone and never returned.
If you were that fairy, would you kiss a crow, stay by yourself to turn back into a lonely mushroom, or lead your journey to that mountain to find the herb which you might not even be able to digest?
