Yeah. Money has become God. See, when the dream starts, it's about securing your family. But as you go on, it becomes about power, because there is always somebody richer than you. They own more, or they have a higher portfolio. Who gets hurt in this process are the joe schmoe guys like me and the other little people. We bust our buncakes trying to to achieve the "American Dream." But that is lost, or hard to get nowadays. Some will say "Oh that's not true." but that's because they already have it. It's far easy to say those things when your able to look down on the common man, who builds the very foundation of America, and yet they recieve no benefit. The skyboxes, the lower seats, ringside, are reseved for the rich, and a privilege for some jerk like me. We earn less, and cannot simply afford the week-end getaways, nor afford the "four day weekend" Well, because Earning is everything. "Hustling fo' dat' buck." Getting them dead presidents. This is what I call "The Greed Killing."

Chances are, if it is not earned, it is less likely being valued. That said, earning still is not every thing in ones life. For example, many mothers would say their children is every thing in their life and yet child bearing is not earned.

Seems that way, doesn't. What a revelation when they find out there is more out here for us. The big money game keeps everything so uptight and thoughtless. Make the buck , make the buck....never giving thought to what they are missing in life. Instead of buying a $150,000 home why not buy one you can afford? Having all the big boy/girl toys in the world will not make one content. Contentment comes from caring, sharing and find the time to show it.

If things are just handed to you, you don't appreciate it. The important things in life usually have to be earned. You have to exert some effort to go after what you want. Then the reward is so much sweeter because it's deserved through your own hard work.

No. In fact, giving is everything in one's life. Earning is a necessary force to ensure financial security. Giving is the building block of earning all things in this life....money, respect, health, and happiness. We give our bodies and minds to earn money, our honest and integrity to earn respect, our physical fitness to earn health, and our hearts to earn happiness.
