whats the name of this show??????

there was a show, not cartoon, but for kids, it was a young blonde girl in the forest, ed asner was in it, he was a mans face in a wishing well....there was a witch in a castle, and the girl had these animal friends which were ppl dressed up in mascot like costumes i think one was some kinda bird?????????

Sounds like it may be Youreka"s (spelling) Castle.
