Where the little boy is all alone at home & his gollywog-type doll tries to kill him...& then he tries to burn the doll but with no luck?? I watched a piece of it like 6 years ago & i cant remember any more.......Anyone know the name??

Probably Child's Play. Chucky was the name of the doll. He had red hair, freckles and wore blue overalls.
I have never seen those movies, just the thought of them when I was little used to scare the crap out of me.
