I committed myself to being the best father I can when I heard Collin Raye's "The Eleventh Commandment". I still get choked up on that one.

Honor thy children.

This is a hard question to answer because there are so many songs I adore. However, I would have to say my favorite is Time by Pink Floyd. Ever the pessimist I am, the opening line just pulls me in - "ticking away the moments that make up a dull day... you fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way..."

If that doesn't work for you, absolutely any other song by Pink Floyd works too.

Cheers!

I've always loved Barry Manilow's , " Even Now." I think that at least one time in all of our lives, we fall in love with the wrong person. But, the intensity of the feelings are undeniable and even after the relationship ends, the memories and the regrets can continue to linger for a lifetime.
"Even Now," beautifully expresses this and Manilow is an amazing performer.

My favorite song is Teenagers by My Chemical Romance because it talks about how adults try to take over the teenage world, and how some adults are trying to 'fit in' with teens... Plus, it's a funny as hell song... Listen to it some time.

That depends on the song, and the nature of the memories that are attached to it...
