How does the movie House on Haunted Hill end?

I saw the first 45 minutes of it but i had to change the channel, so i didn't see the end of it.

Eddie (Taye Diggs) and Sara (Ali Larter) both survive the night, but the get stuck out on this really small ledge at the top of the house with no way down to the ground. Fade to black. There is a sequel coming out direct to video, but it is all new characters all new actors.

it ends with you not caring ,bcuz you turned the chanel next time finish watching the movie silly.
