We have an assignment and i all i found out about the rolling pin was that a female invented it in 1891! HELP!

According to the first link below, it was a black man named John W. Reed in 1884.
According to the second, it was a woman named Catherine Deiner in 1891.
Take your pick. Neither are probably right.

Well, I know that rolling pins can be made of different materials and diameters to use with different types of dough. They can made of things like wood, glass, marble, metal, ceramic. The glass and ceramic ones can be refrigerated to use when rolling out dough to keep it from sticking to the rolling pin. Some rolling pins also have designs carved or stamped into them to use when making certain types of cookies called Springerle. These are Bavarian cookies that are traditionally made around Christmas. hahaha hunni women have done far greater things than invent the rolling pin. I hope this is a joke. Minor accomplishments in the kitchen do not constitute a women's studies question.
