Me and my group in my eighth grade class (of four) have to write (and more than likely act) a play. I need some good story-line ideas to base the play on. PLEASE HELP!

i suggest looking at an improv (improvization) book. these contain prompts for scenes which actors act on without preparation. these prompts can help come up with a plot line. you could have your play center around a conflict or an adventure. perhaps a discovery could be made that could lead to secret plots to kill each other (would allow for some nice asides and/or monologues/soliloquys)

i think it wud b a gud idea to take a part of a shakespear play such that the scene has only 4 characters at that specific point and modify it to suit your expectations. I guess it would be appreciated for the sole fact of being able to understand and modify characteristics of a well known play to suit you, because in some cases this could be tedious task...good luck
