Now that you have read all the technical garbage, I will just tell you what it means....FREE STUFF!!
With bluetooth, you can use your phone to link to another bluetooth phone, and you can share ringtones and wallpaper. Transfering these files cost you NOTHING because you arent using your cellphone providers network, you are only using your cellphone in a private way.
All you have to do is go into your phones menu, find the bluetooth option, turn it on, have your friend turn their bluetooth on, and they will shake hands, ....and allow phone to phone transfer.
Thats the best benefit for a beginer. Once you start to master it, and want to invest some money, you can buy a bluetooth adapter for your computer, which will allow your computer and cellphone to shake hands ...then you can drag and drop any music or images from your pc to your phone. FREE!
