Vickie Guerrero To Take On New Role On Smackdown
The Vickie Guerrero story line will lead to her replacing Teddy Long as the general manager of Smackdown. Guerrero agreed to the role in large part because she wouldn't have to work many house shows, allowing her more time at home to raise her daughters. Long will remain on Smackdown in a new role.
Vickie was also supposed to apologize to Rey Mysterio Jr. during the recent Smackdown taping in Rey's hometown of San Diego, CA. The plan was later scrapped. Instead, Vince McMahon had Umaga attack Rey, further pushing his Hair vs Hair Match at Wrestlemania.

That's the plan now...I wish they'd just get rid of her...I'd make a better on camera personality than she does. And I'm a helluva lot better looking, too.
