I chose accounting- because it is one of the few careers that EVERY business needs. Thus, it allowed for more opportunity.

Studied art history & mixed media, I just really liked it but had no clue what to do with it once I was done. I considered teaching, but I don't enjoy that enough.
I do not use it in my career. I am a make-up artist & aesthetician (additional schooling for this). I do use my classes from colour theory and design for the make-up.
Many of the people who I am friends with do not use their degrees in their actual work or careers. I think this is because once you graduate college, your interests are different than when you started out.
Don't stress out about not knowing what you want to do. Just take some classes that sound interesting, don't be rigid on the 4 year college plan, give yourself time to take classes that sound interesting and fun & you will find your bliss. Good luck.

My ultimate goal is to be a college counselor. I've been helping friends get into college and find the right program for years. People have always told me I should make it a profession. The degree is an M.A., so I have to do undergrad first. I'm undecided what I will major in.

I speak three languages and love to travel, so I go for international relations. I also love money and how it works, so I double major in economics.
It's about what you love - don't let anyone fool you, going to university for the money might work for about 10 years, but then you end up hating it and want to go back to university or regret ever going at all. Or so I've been told. But I love going to school and have a good GPA, and a lot of it has to do with being interested in my class content and learning more about what I like.

I'm going for elementary education. I changed my mind like 4 times and kept coming back to education. Its what I wanted to do when I was little and I think its my calling. You get great benefits, insurance, and time off when kids are off. No weekends and more time with my family. Its not to say the pay isn't something to gawk over and additional time is required outside the classroom but it has its rewards as well.

Majoring in Biology, want pre-requisites for Dental School. I wanna be a dentist.
Have you talked to the counselors at your school? They supposed to be experts at helping you with that, or at my college they have a "Career Assesment Center" which helps people find their majors, with questionaires and stuff. Maybe you can check if your school has something similar.

Chemistry major. I chose this field because I plan to make a difference in this world. Chemistry is the central science, nothing can be done without it.
Choose something that you can be happy doing until you die otherwise you'll have a depressed life.

I have changed my major so many times and probably will again. I did medical assisting and phlebotomy. i have an AA and now I'm going for my bachelors in either education, psychology, or social work. maybe even business. (see still not sure, but I keep advancing). Just get your transfer module done and experiment a lil with other classes til you see something you really like.

I'm a Biology major. I'm just fascinated with life in general, and originally I wanted to go into research, but I'm not sure anymore. I'm having trouble deciding what I want to do with my life. It's hard, but follow what you want to do, and don't be afraid to change once you get there.
