I think they will be a playoff contender. But there will be alot of competition for the AFC wildcard so they may not get into the playoffs but they have as good a shot as anyone else. If they do get in it depends on who they play from there. I see them beating teams like the jets or chiefs but I dont see them beating the Colts or Chargers.

Vince Young is capable of taking the Titans to the Super Bowl. But can the rest of the Titans help him? That's the true question. I think they have a good chance of making at least to the second round of the playoffs. Due to the inexperience of postseason play for all the new guys. If they could have just made the wild card this year would have been a good preparation. For the fact that they would have felt the pressure and intensity of the playoffs. Win or Lose. Would have given them a feel of the situation. I know for a fact that they will make to the playoffs this upcoming season. Lets see how far they will make it.

Right now with there stripped down offense, I don't think Peyton Manning could take the Titans anywhere. There offense has been totally dismantled. they lost their leading rusher in Travis Henry and their leading reciever in Drew Bennet. There recivers are not up to par, Tyrone Calico and Courtney Roby were both late round picks, and were never expected to lead a recieving core. They need help at reciever very badly, and in the draft might targer Dwayne Jarret or Robert Meachem.

With the loss of Travis Henry, their running game also took a huge blow. Chris Brown also might be gone in free agency, and it looks like Lendale White will get most of the carries. There are a number of quality backs that will be there in the second and third rounds, especially ones that can give a speed compliment to Lendale White. Kenny Irons, Pittman from Ohio St., Lorenzo Booker, and Tony Hunt will all make it to the second round, so the running game shouldn't be a huge problem for the Titans. The passing game should be the number one issue, so Vince Young can lead his team to the playoffs.

NFL defensive coordinators have enough film on him to neutralize him now. Shadow with a spy or just keep him in the pocket and play nickle defense...whatever, someone will figure it out and force him into the pocket. That is basically what always happens with running QB's once they leave college and get to the big league. He's good enough in the pocket that they can have good success, but his division is WAY too tough for them to come out of it. Are they going to beat out the Colts AND Jags for playoff spots? Good luck!

Vince Young on his own? Not far. They'll be another 7-9, maybe 8-8 team. To many holes to fill and they even lost several productive guys on offense.

vince young needs wr support. Last year, he had drew bennett. This year, there is no clear go-to guy for vince. without one, he'll surely suffer.
if david givens can recover quickly, then vince will be awesome. if the titans sign stallworth, vince will definitely be able to do well.

young's potential for next year will definitely be limited, as nfl teams will adapt to his style, unlike this year.

The farthest he can get them is the Wild Card but it will be difficult to do that if they don't seriously upgrade their sorry defense and get some players on O to replace Henry and Bennett

I think they can be in the Playoffs, but they need some good WR, and HB because Vince Young is like both QB, and HB.

Maybe an 8-8 season. He is not the second coming of Michael Vick he is the second coming of Duante Culpepper. Hes a much better passer than Vick could ever hope to be. Hell be good but, he wont be a superstar. Peace out...................

500 season...maybe a game better...seen overly athletic quarterbacks come and go for 40 years...the QBs that win titles, especially repeatedly...know the game from the pocket, and are cerebral and confident to an above average level when on the field...(note; that totally counts out vick ok...)
