Because global warming will destroy this planet - and soon, if it's not controlled. My guess is that you believe global warming would be a good thing because the entire globe would be warm (millions of people mistakenly believe this). In fact, global warming will make polar bears extinct; wipe out many native Eskimo tribes; create tidal waves, severe storms, violent hurricanes, and vicious weather along both coasts of both major oceans. And - if we don't stop polluting our air with smoke-belching factories, vehicle emissions, and toxic waste fumes, this dramatic change will take place in about ten years. It's time for Earthlings to wake up and recognize how we've ruined this planet in the last 150 years - and it's time we begin doing something about it - or else our civilization will come to an abrupt end. -RKO-

The great pretender found something the liberals are interested in - to benefit himself - and the party . The hypocrite uses a 5-figure amount $$ of energy monthly ..BUT..by perpetrating the biggest national fraud ( that PEOPLE cause weather ) the Democrats can raise taxes to fund this fraud - WHILE they get in our face AND our homes to tell us how to live ; what to eat ; what to grow and when to grow it . Up to Gore & the gestapo democrats we'll all be eating beans & rice while they lives in mansions ; ride in private jets & limos-while we FREEZE like all the other tiny countries these wackos invaded first ..to stifle their economy & way of lives .

I don't want to be rude, but this is a question that anyone that walks on this Earth and breaths it's air, should know the answer!

Because he cares about the environment, but also because the warming can be disastrous. If the icebergs in the north pole start melting, the water level will rise and there will be serious coastal flooding. In addition, the higher water levels can contribute to greater numbers of larger hurricanes, global warming was one of the reasons why Hurricane Katrina was so disastrous. In addition there are hundreds of other side effects.
Not the least of which, it will get hot.
