But I often see people wear khakis with a gray shirt. I've also seen on style network where the "expert" picked out an outfit for someone and that outfit consited of wearing gray pants with a dark brown shirt. What gives? Is it the shade of brown and gray that would make it okay? Could you wear light gray pants and dark brown shoes? I'm just confused. Please help.

They are earth colors,so of course they go together!

because fashon is like beauty in the eye of the beholder. And what you see models desplaying on some runway is not what people actualy wear everyday.
I personaly like the brown and gray colors.
As well as Green and Gray.
And I wear Black and tan alot also.

i don't think they go together at all, but i can imagine some one wearing dark brown and light gray together.

well, nowadays, everyone's wearing colors with all kinds of other colors. you shouldn't listen to fashion experts, you should let loose and create your own style.=]

Ummm.... maybe you should go tell them that their clothes don't match. They'll laugh at you. Seriously, wear what YOU like, and don't worry about anyone else.
