Kevin Durant is the best college basketball player and will be the best in the NBA. You can put a 7 foot body on Oden but Kevin Durant causes so many mismatches as a 6'10 small forward. Its scary how well he can shoot the ball, hes the best shooter in the ncaa right now.

The best player in the NCAA right now has to be Kevin Durant. He is without a doubt one of the more complete offensive players that we have seen in a while in college. As for NBA ready, very few players have shown that they are indeed ready for the pros. One that stands out to me is Acie Law from Texas A&M. To me, he is without a doubt the player closest to the skill set needed for the NBA. Of course that is right now. In the future due to their sheer athleticism, Durant and Oden are both going to be terrific players, but I will give the nod to Oden. We are playing in a time in the NBA where there are not alot of centers with half the defensive skills Oden has right now in college. This along with his improving offensive game will set him apart from Durant in the long run.

Kevin Durrant is the best player in the NCAA this year. Great numbers for a good team in a good conference. But I think Greg Oden will be a better pro, not by much. I think he will find breaking his hand will end up being a blessing in disguise. He's a 7 footer who can now shoot with any hand he wants. He will be really tough to guard.

i think kevin durant is the best college player because he can score from anywhere on the floor offensively, in addition to being a great rebounder on both sides...greg oden will be the best in the nba because when he gets there he will be a more polished offensive player and his right hand will be completely healthy, and his defensive presence has been established already on the college level

i vote kevin durant for best in ncaa because of the sheer talent he has and his length and his unbelivable shooting touch. grg oden for nba becuase talented centers dont come so often and thts why i also think oden will be #1 overall in draft
