im only 32 1/2 weeks along. for the last week and a half i have been having contractions and now tonight i have been having to change my underwear every hour or 2 because they are wet. i smelled the wet spot and it had no odor to it. is it that my water broke or could it be that because my husband and i had sex its just seman? again..there was no scent at all to the wet spot.

well see...i was in the hospital 2 sundays ago and then this past sunday. the first time i was there i wasn't having contractions, just cramping. this past sunday when i was there, i was having contrations just not regular ones. and my cervix was still very high and closed. so i feel like a pain going BACK to the hospital if nothing is wrong. i feel almost like a pest because...im whining or something?

I work in a hospital deliverying babies every day and the last thing you want to do is take a chance that it is just semen. Go to the hospital and find out! You are not too early to deliver but you could have the chance of complications of having a premie. Just go and find out to be safe.... Good luck!

I would be heading to the hospital.
I am presuming you are having braxton hicks but the leaky feeling is not something to take lightly.
Take it from a mum of 6 , one child who was born at 28weeks, get to the hospital.

ps a misconception of waters breaking is a gush.
This is not always 100% accurate.
My waters leaked for 3 weeks before my baby was delivered 12 weeks early with minimal amniotic fluid around her.

I agree you should see the doctor or hospital for a determination on your diliation and contractions. Your goal is to not have that baby for another few weeks. Take it easy and maybe no sex...

that is a possibility....with my son, when my water broke, it was a trickle...not the gush that some women get where it just all comes at once.....it felt like i was peeing on myself....if it feels like that, i would advise calling your ob....they may want you to come in to check....it is very important not to wait too long if your water has broken, because it is now possible for infection to set in since the baby is no longer protected by the amniotic fluids...hope this helps.....good luck and god bless

your body is telling you that something is wrong the baby is working it's way down closer to where he or she needs to be,that's why you have pain, if it were contractions believe me you wouldn't be sitting at the computer typing ,if you are leaking they may want to induce labor so you won't have a dry labor and to prevent infection from occurring, hopefully you won't be reading this answer,instead you are at the hospital making sure you are alright and your baby

at the end it seems you get wetter i think its just the way things go waterbreaking is more of a gush like you peed but good luck you wouldn;t want to have baby this early n e ways
