the problem with this question is that India hasn't really existed as a whole state to be ruled before the British unified and occupied the subcontinent. Even during their reign, there remained parts which were autonomous or semi-independants Rajhs.
Before the start of British colonialism in India, roughly 1600, there was the Mughal dynasty which was extremely powerful. They came fromt the north (distant decendants of Gengis Khan, if Im not mistaked) and as such ruled over an increasing territory and progressively expanding towards the south. Again, there remaned many princedoms and rajhs that sustained themselves throughout the Mughal attacks. Some of these are quite ancient I believe.
Before the Mughal invasions, India has been a very divided land, much like Germany and Italy before 1870(and almost everywhere lol!). There were some overshadowing others and neverceasing change throughout history. I dont know enough about that period though.
(If you didnt know after british colonialism, India became a Republic in 1947 and is much what it is today...)

Edit: i'm uncertain what's your definition of dynasty yet once you advise political family contributors enable me practice some from BJP, because of the fact we've continuously examine congress, SP, RJD, DMK, Shiv Sena, Akali and so forth.... Now shall we see celebration with distinction... shall we see, few ap has given already and to function, particularly the final one please examine.: BJP: previous due Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia -- > Son: Madhavrao Scindia (who moved from BJS to Congress later) - > Daughter: Vasundhara Raje - > Daughter: Yashodhara Raje Scindia - > Grandson: Dushyant Singh Jaswant Singh - > Son: Manvendra Singh Atal Bihari Vajapayee -- > nephew Anup Mishra (Minister in MP government) So please enable me know the place is BJP, celebration with the version? Even Mr. Vajapayee isn't any diverse. Edit: somebody is changing definition of Dynasty: A dynasty is a succession of persons belonging to the comparable family contributors, who, by way of varied ability and varieties guard power, impression or authority over the direction of generations. As consistent with Oxford Dictionary: a million a line of hereditary rulers. 2 a succession of effective or favourite human beings from the comparable family contributors.

you have got to be kidding.... 8000 years of history ... you want details of who ruled and when?!
No chance buddy... even if we KNEW that answer it would take too long to type here for Yahoo! Answers....
general "rulership" is in four phases:
Indus Valley Civilization - 6000bc - maybe 1200bc
Greek Rule - 330 - 230 BC
Muslim Rule - 750AD to 1700's AD
British Rule - 1700's (give or take) - 1948 (think that was it...)
Self rule - present

Not possible yet .
Many many rulers are under the earth and waiting for excavations.
8000 years is a too long period.
There are more than 100000 kings are reported and coins of unknown kings are yet to deciphered.
