I have NO idea what to write about. I have my regular articles that I write...the advice column, and another that's a regular of mine- but I want to twist it up a bit, write something different. And then it hit me- I could write an opinion article. I am very, very forward when writing my opinion, and I am very good at it. But I have NO CLUE what to write about!!! Ideas please!

Try to think of something, that if your friends bring up or have different views about you can beat them down with your opinion. I know for me it is Capital Punnishment/ The Death Penalty, I can argue on that one until no end. Just pick something that you're passionate about! Whether it be politics, music, love, art, school! The key in giving a strong believable opinion is that you are indeed passionate and feel strongly for the subject .

write about something in your age group that your peers disagree on. Or a big worldly issue that people disagree on. Politic and religion are often very opinionated areas.

You could write about your opinion of nuclear weapons, or gay marriages, or abortion, or even illegal immagrants! you have a WHOLE list of things you can choose, but choose something you are sure you have an opinion on, and the issues that make you really mad are good issues too.

there are tons of current events you could write an opinion on........gay marriages, keeping the troops overseas, passports needed for Canada/US travel etc etc
