Could be a shorted injector or injector wire shorting out in the engine compartment.

The pump probably has a shorted winding. It will still work, but draws too much current. Putting an amp meter in series with the pump and checking current draw is the only way to tell for sure.

htis might be your problem. there is module called the multi-function relay. this module is a dealer item and is expensive. could also be a fuel pump going bad. be sure to keep the tank half full the fuel is what keeps the pump cool.
