these two aquarium filter don't look the same but are they the same? both the 350 versions, are they the same?

Same. I actually have the 350. That exact filter. It will look more like the second photo, with 2 biowheels. I'm currently running it without the biowheels in it though (I had suicide loaches who swam under them to get into the filter... scaed me a little) and I have plants, and the didn't want all the outgassing the biowheels cause. They're great though, I've always used a biowheel (except for now). They are the same filter. And, like I said, the bigger picture is the 350.

The Petsmart one is just a general stock photo it seems. The Petco one is the actual picture of the one you're looking at. Marineland is a very good filter system, good choice I use it myself, love the biowheel :)

Whoops, fixing my answer - They are both just stock photos, doesn't specify which one they are showing exactly but yes they are the same thing. Just make sure you're ordering the 350 one when you go to order.

the one from petsmart looks like the newer models.but yup its the same company, same purpose, same effects. we sell these at my petstore and iwas shocked to find out they created a new model....again.
