We are a group of 8 adults, and want to do a 6 day trip from Manila to the rice terraces in the north. We do NOT want to go on public transport and we do NOT want to purchase 8 seats on a tour. We really want to hire a local driver with a van that will take us where we want to go and stop when we want to stop etc.
Does anyone know any contacts who can help me with this request.
We will be there in Nov 2007.

Will you be staying in a big hotel in Manila before you head north? If so, call that hotel and tell them what you want. I'm certain they can arrange it for you. If not, you'll just have to find a travel agent in Manila who can arrange it.

there is one travel agent in Manila that operates banaue tour (rice terraces) inclusive of private transpo, acommodations. its a guided tour. check this site: www.avanchortours.com. you may also contact amie for details.
