No. You cannot get a virus from YouTube. You are not downloading anything, your just previewing shockwave. You can only get a virus from downloading or spyware.

yes, if you downloaded the video it could have given you a virus. By the way, you should NEVER go on the internet without and antivirus program running. Buy one at Target or try to download on.

yes u can get a virus PRETENDING to look like a youtube video clip. i'm assuming your brother clicked on it and went to a site with the virus.
in other words, it was a youtube picture not a video that he was clicking on.

you may need to go in and do a disk clean up or do a defrag on your puter to get ride of all the junk on it and also maybe delete your Internet cookies also they can take up a lot of room on your puter... i hope this helps some you always what to do the 3 things like once a mth.

yes you can get a virus from any website....and its possible its not a virus but a trojan horse/spyware...thats why its crtical to have a firewall and virus program at all times and keep the definition files updated.

your brother lied to you!!! instead, he went into a 'naughty' website. get grifsoft AVG free to check for viruses. get ccleaner to remove junks from your pc and hope your comp will get faster
