hello lalaz,
oh, honey it sounds like pregnancy to me......congratulations !!!!
The next step should be make an immediate OB/GYN appointment===for something like this, they should be able to work you in......no problem !!!!!!
Be sure to tell them about the period situation....FYI, my mother had 3 periods the 1st 3 months of her pregnancy (which was me ) so it is a common occurence for women to bleed like they are having a period.........in the 1st trimester of their pregnancy....
so don't be worried.!!!!!!!
Good luck and may God bless and keep you and your little one safe and healthy1!!!!!!! and Happy, too......

What this means, is SEE A DOCTOR. Only a doctor (you can go to a general practitioner at this point), after conducting the proper tests and/or exam, can give you a definitive answer; and that is exactly what you need. It is not unheard of to have normal or near normal menstrual flow during pregnancy; and sometimes an HPT can give a false reading -- either way. SO, see a doctor even if you think you might be pregnant, because, if you are, PRENATAL CARE gives you and the baby the best chances for good health.

It is very possible to still have a normal period when your pregnant. A miscarriage can also seem very similar to a period. If you had a pos preg test then, you are pregnant.. its likely to have a false negative but not a false positive. The hormones your body lets out when your pregnant can be picked up by a test but only if you truly are pregnant otherwise threes not hormone to give you that positive reading. I would definitely consult a doctor about the bleeding either way.

You can have a "somewhat" normal period the first few months of pregnancy. If your HPT was positive, I would call your doctor and get blood work done and get an answer.

the best way to know is to visit your ob/gyne. she should know what tests should be done and why you are bleeding, incase you are pregnant. i know bleeding can mean something when pregnant, maybe the baby is in risk of miscarriage or you need to have bed rest. better be safe than sorry.

It means you need to call your OB/gyn and get a pregnancy (blood) test asap. Call their office first thing Monday morning, sweetie. They can work you in.
