i sometime wear converse without socks, but not pumas. pumas (some, not all) smell without socks if you just wear them bare, so be careful. you can also buy ankle socks if you don't want any to show.

pumas or converse chucks... usually with really short socks, not without socks, though.

umm, they DO wear socks, its just that theyre lowcut ankle socks, i recommend chucks [converse], pumas, vans, etc
