It depends on how far you push that accelerator... Unless you are in another country that operates off a different speed system yes it is all going to be that same.
Think about this for a second, when you're on the highway do you see speed limits for motorcycles and then one for a car.. NO!
Therefore this must mean that the speed is the same!

No, motorcycles use up mph faster than cars, so a motorcycle has to go 70 mph to go the same speed as a car going 60 mph. LOLOL!! I have a bridge for sale, too!!
Speed is speed. 50 mph is the same on a motorcycle, as in a car, as in a bus, etc. It just feels different because of the relative size of the vehicle you are travelling in.

I am a very big fan of cars and all the tuned up street rods but I have to admit that there are motorcycles that are faster than anycar in the world! I wouldn't want to go that fast but some people do

Whats heavier a ton of bricks are a ton of feathers ,what is longer a city mile are a country mile , I have cruised at a 100mph in my cage and I have cruised at 100mph on my bike and the bike was more equivalent to haveing my a*s*s pucker up and my hands gripping the handlebars tighter than a hienze ketchup bottle cap, I have trouble waving to fellow bikers at that speed

I think it would pretty much depend on which motorcycles and which cars...over all, I would suspect they are quite equal. Different bikes are made for different things...some for speed and some for power...same as cars.

sportbike speedometers tend to read high even out of the factory... with modified gearing the speedo error can become much higher. you can install a speedohealer to correct for this. have a friend pace you in a car if you really want to know!
