Why bother expending all of that energy chasing that stupid Road Runner when he could have just gotten some regular food? Dumb coyote. He wasn't a Super Genius after all!!!

Sorry, I spelled his name wrong, it should have been *Wile E. Coyote*. Wow! Such good answers. I don't know who to pick!

I like you because, you just applied common sense to something fictional. I always wondered the samething; but to answer your question: if you haven't noticed he always seemed to be interested in the things that he couldn't have. While choosing the impossible to go about obtaining it.

The same reason why a 4 guy tries for an 8 girl.

Thrill of the hunt, even in the face of daunting odds and adversity. And just like guys do, Wile E. Coyote never learnt from his mistakes.

More than anything, Wile. E. Coyote is an embodiment of the human spirit. He failed in catching the road runner the same way humans fail to catch happiness.

And all the while, we forget that, just past the ACME corporate's web of hype and lies, there is always the 'pizza' of living a simple life and not caring for worldly excesses.

It may have been the thrill of the hunt instead of the prize itself that kept Wile E. Coyote chasing the Road Runner for so long! But it does beg the question if Acme made at least a pizza making machine...

Maybe there's no good food by him. He's in the middle of the desert so I doubt there's food around. He probebly could order a pizza but it would take a very long time for the delivery people to get there.

or if there is food by him, maybe he just has a taste for Road Runner. Like if you have a taste for homemade pasta and sauce, ordering a pizza just isn't the same. So Wild E. Coyote just really want to eat that Road Runner.

Because no pizza place owuld deliver a pizza to the middle of the desert. Acme would.

Back then Pizza places did not except Credit Cards, but the Acme company did, and Wile had no cash or pockets to hold cash, so he couldn't charge a pizza, only the acme stuff

He doesn't like Pizza, only RoadRunner meat

Have you ever tried Road Runner pancake? Come to that, have you tasted the Acme pizza deluxe with extra anchovies?
Road Runner wins in the freshness stakes!

Umm, he didn't want a pizza- oh wait I get it...he was trying to eat the roadrunner. I bet it started out as hunger, but when it kept blowing up in his face it became a vandetta....and everyone knows a pizza won't satiate a hunger for revenge.

or he could chase the slower road runners or get a acme clone machine and clone the runner. then he could have as many as he wants. or a slow ray to slow him down.
but realistically he should sue acme for equipment that doesn't work.

Maybe he had a gift card that would expire the next day or something. The pleasure is in the hunt, and hunting pizza is kinda boring.
