Anyone watch the show Psych? I am wondering, on the last show they kept asking Gus if he was the guy who played the kid Bud on the Cosby Show (Rudy's friend). Remember Bud? He does look like him! I am wondering if anyone knows.... is it the same guy?

Althouth Dule Hill (the actor on Psych) looks remarkably like "Bud" from the Cosby Show, he is not the actor that played him. Bud was played by Dion Richmond.

Deon Richmond played Kenny or "Bud" on The Cosby Show. Dule Hill, the actor from Psych, however, did play Marcus on an episode of Cosby in 1997. Though this show shares many of the actors and a similar name, the premise is very different from The Cosby Show. Thus, the joke.

No, he isn't Bud, although there is a resemblance. The guy on Psych is Dulé Hill, who was also from The West Wing. Bud was played Deon Richmond, who grew up to be in Scream 3, and also the short lived show Teachers, which aired on NBC last season for 6 episodes or so.

No, but this running joke was answered in the final show when Deon Richmond, who DID play "Bud"', was in the guest cast. Dule Hill appeared on the Cosby show in one episode.

No. Dion Richmond played "Bud" on the Cosby Show. Dion Richmond was also on Sister Sister for a while. They do look alike. LOL!!

Dion Richmonds character on the Cosby Show was Kenny a friend of Rudy. On one episode Rudy insisted on calling Kenny "Bud".
But from then on he was called by the characters right name.
