Ok... heres the situation, i was trying to do the splits, and got really close, so i did it two more times, and when i got up, the inside of my leg was hurting right down to my knee. I have to to the "olympics" in school, and one of the events is trying to do the splits. Todays tuesday, and i have the olympics on either wednesday or thursday... what should i do about my leg? (upper half of leg on inside) and also, can i still compete? (this happened 4th hour(around 10), and hurts when i walk, even after about 11 hours.(9:00)

Well I'm a dance teacher and obviously I have had MANY of these. My tip for you is just rest your leg. Hopefully by the next day your leg will feel better. Also take some Asprin/Motrin to help relieve the pain. I know this doesn't seem like it would work but your leg just needs some rest.

Sounds like you "pulled your groin", or an adductor strain as the technical name. When you cause microtrauma to a muscle, the formula of R.I.C.E applies - Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation are the best ways to decrease swelling and therefore pain. After 48-72 hours heat works better

Sounds as though you've pulled your groin muscles. People who can't do the splits shouldn't try until they can. All you can do is wait and there is no way you should take part in these "Olympic" things as they will only damage the muscles more.
