i have talked with a dell tech for over 40 hours( no joke) and have not fixxed the problem yet H E L P please

Your TV tuner may not be compatible with WMC 2005. Check the manufacturer's web site to see if it's compatible or not. If it is, then you may just have a bad codec or missing DLL file.
