For about a week I've been taking prenatal vitmians given to me by my doctor, they are prenate elite. I'm not currently pregnant, just starting to TTC. I've had no changes in habits, no chance I'm pregnant (my period just stopped a few days ago), but I'm just all over sore.

My muscles are sore like I've been working out, but I've had no increase or change in physical activity. This also isn't normal for around my period & I'm not getting sick. Any chance this is the prenatal vitmians? If you've had this problem, does it go away once you've gotten use to the pills, or any tips about how to help get through it?

I've had no problems, such as nausea. Of course I do take them at night just to avoid any problems like that.

And I'm 100% sure I'm not pregnant, just finished up my last pack of pills just over a week ago & had a fairly long & heavy period due to stopping the pill.

Hi, I too had some side effects- my Dr said that its just my body getting used to the new nutrients and to wait and see how I was after taking them for 4 weeks.
After the 4 weeks I was fine, I agree with other responses take them at night so your body is resting and can absorp them better

No. All prenatal supplementations are is a blend of supplementations and food. you are able to take flinstone supplementations and get an identical result. yet there is no longer any narcotics in prenatal supplementations, so the in reality issue which could take position is in case you get more suitable nausea because those are some massive lookin horse pills. i did not take prenatal supplementations, yet I did take flinstone chewables and that i have been given an identical issue, and that i ate ingredients with truly some folic acid. yet you are able to get pregnant on the on the spot after a miscarriage, besides the undeniable fact that it don't have something to do with the prenatal supplementations.

When I started taking them I had some side effects too. I didn't have weakness or soreness but I was very sick to my stomach. The dr told me it was the folic acid and that many women get side effects from it at first. Once it is build up in your system is should get better. It think it took me about two weeks to get back to normal. BTW... don't stop and then start taking them or you will have to go through it all over again. Good Luck!!

The only side effect I have heard with prenatals is nausea. Have you considered that you may be pregnant? Tired & achiness is considered very normal in the first weeks of pregnancy. Regardless you should call your OB od doctor as they know more than I do for sure, lol.
