Okay let me add something real quick. I don't need tennis shoes or heels right now, I need some everyday type shoes that I can wear to a semi-formal event and also the supermarket. Thanks! :)

I love KEEN brand shoes. They are a bit funky, but there are some really cute and "normal" styles as well. The most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Although a bit pricey (mostly between $85 and $100), I have had one pair for almost 3 years and they are still as great (in looks, comfort, etc.) as the first day I bought them. Go to keenfootwear.com for styles. I buy mine at zappos.com because there are helpful reviews as well as free shipping (you can even buy a few different pairs, try them out, and return them with a complete refund!). Good luck!!

I found some very attractive pumps in black at a store I was at with my mom, which strangely enough sold nurses shoes, shoes for mail carriers etc.. They are over $100 and I'm going to go there soon to order a pair. They are NOT old lady shoes, they are very attractive. The store was Terrapin Orthapedic (sell canes, walkers, shoes etc) in Torrance, California. I know it may sound strange, but they had a lot of nice looking shoes. I'll see if I can get the name of the brand and I'll post again.

I have those same shoes!! The green and purple gym shoes. Depending on what they're for, you might want to go ahead and spend a little more money on them, the extra padding helps. ALDO is really great because they have shoe stretchers that you can ask for them to stretch your shoes. They have all sorts of cute styles. Check them out at aldo.com

one particular brand of shoes is not going to be comfortable for EVERY person. try on lots of different brands and try on different sizes. try going up and down a half size from what you normally wear and see if that makes a difference.

I personally love BCBG stilettos and think they are the most comfortable shoes I own (besides my Nike Shox that I wear to the gym).

Sketchers.

But any new shoe will rub in the beginning until it takes the shape of your foot.

I know Clarks are comfy but the range of styles might vary on how big of a store you go to, I really haven't found a comfy pair of heels! they all hurt like a mother!! Good luck!

Clark. Easy Spirit. They are kinda for like middle aged women though and so the styles are kinda like "mom-ish" and not "woohoo! party at the club- ish". i kno cuz my mom's friend has like foot issues and her doctor recommended that brand. DSW has lots of shoes from those brands.

Try Clarke's or Monroe shoes.
