hi im studying for my upcoming SAT and i need help with some of these word. Can anyone please provide any examples or sentences with; (1)delirium (2) dilapidated (3) acquiesce (4) amphibious.

2)Jake just stared at the dilapidated building in front of him that didn't seem fit for a home.

(1) Jane's state of delirium made her unable to concentrate for long periods of time.

(2) The city condemned the house because of it's dilapidated condition.

(3)The U.S. were not prepared to acquiesce to the return of the North Koreans to the Peace Talks, but the UN's wishes were adhered to.

(4) A flying boat is a type of amphibious aircraft.

dilapitaed most nearly means run down, torn down, destroyed,etc.
