I was told you can clean Healing stones of negative energy by putting them in the freezer,, If this is true what period of time do you keep them in the freezer and how soon can you use them after cleansing.

HEALING GEMS ARE A LOAD OF GARBAGE.
I had a cancer patient who died holding one of those gems in her hand. She beileved that they would save her. They did squat didderly for her.

yes you can clean some healing stones by putting them in a freezer overnight, I know several healers who follow this practice.
Amethyst in particular does not like the sunlight at all but likes the moonlight, sea water, and cold (loves being under snow or in the freezer as a way of cleaning it and recharging it) it is a good stone for a creative person to have around because it does work so well at calming them

I would do it for 24 hours, it works for me. You can use them right after cleansing. You could also put them out in the sun all day to clear the negative energy and add positive energy, especially with quartz.

No this would not clean the negative vibes from crysstals. See mu blog on Yahoo 360. It has several ways to cleanse crystals and a lot more information.
