im planning to use nokia phones because thats what i have and i bought a cable to connect it on my PC but my computer dont detect the connection. (All I want is to receive and send SMS message through my PC using the phone I connect) Any idea big or small from anyone would be of great help. Thanks,, JP from Philippines

What type of cable is connected to the PC, is it a USB or an RS232 Serial?
Also you may have to change a setting in the phone to activate the phones data link...

you may want to check to see if it is in the usb port all the way if it is then you may need to find a web site to download the file for your phone to be able to access sms. if this still doesn't work you need to call were you got the phone to see if you phone is even capable for this.
