Two things come to mind:

What about comparing the Canadian education system with the U.S. You draw the conclusion on whether or not it is superior, equal to, or lesser than ours.

OR the value of their money versus ours. What you can buy in Canada versus the cost of the same item in the U.S. That would be interesting. And don't use something lame for comparison, like gas (they use imperial gallons) try something more off-the-wall like the cost of lasik eye surgery, or how much it costs for teeth whitening.... This would interesting.....
