TWICE PER DAY? That suggests that you want to sleep for 16 hours out of the day which is contrary to your claim of crazy work hours. If you Need to get your sleep in two separate shorter sleep sessions, I still wouldn't recommend it because it could keep you drowsy and make it harder to get up and be alert during your job, as well as while commuting. If I am correct in my guess that you have short sleep sessions, take just 1 Simply Sleep and see if you are able to get up without feeling groggy. The bottle recommends a dose of 2 pills before a full night (8 hours) of sleep.

The product you mention "Simply Sleep" by the makers of Tylenol PM does NOT contain acetaminophen pain reliever, it is ONLY the diphenhydramine antihistamine/sleep aid that is the additive in Tylenol PM - hence the name -- so you can disregard the comment that it will lead you to develop a tolerance for Tylenol's pain relief. I'll link you to the Wiki page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diphenhydramine
The maximum amount of diphenhydramine that you should take in any 24-hour period is 300 mg according to: http://health.yahoo.com/drug/d00212a1

I would suggest that you follow the directions; however, I will tell you that Tylenol P.M. is simply Tylenol with Benadryl added to it. Most of the OTC sleep aids are Benadryl(diphenhydramine). If you don't know what Benadryl is, it is an OTC antihistamine (an allergy medication) that causes drowsiness; Benadryl, 25-50mg, can be taken every 4-6 hours. I won't advise you what to take, but after reading what I have told you, I'll let you make the decision. I'm sure you can read between the lines. Happy Sleep.....

Read the ingredients: if it has acetaminophen in it don't do it, but diphenhydromine (benadryl) should be fairly safe.
