education helps a person to form a more open opinion to any change that is proposed or has already occurred. this does not mean that educated people are more apt to accept social change. it merely means that educated people are more likely to know and understand the rationale for social change.

Education affects how we view things because it basically teaches you to think critically, from different aspects, and opens door to different things. Consequently, people who make up thier social rules, and followers who follow those rules views change.
I think what education does to us, is basically make us think little bit more. Some books or classes teach different things based on the author's view or teacher's view, but they still make us think, and think critically. And that's what affect the social change.

When a person is well educated, it is easy for that person to change because they know that there can be more to their life and way of being than a person who knows no different. So, I guess education works as a catalyst to change or reform of any kind.

People who go to school and do well usually have the knowledge, support and "can do" attitude to go for social change.People in depressed situation don't have the drive, education to speak out for social change.I think it all depends on who is behind you in your education.

Education causes you to change the people who you usually hang out. Your former friends may seem as immature to you. Your opinions and perceptions about yourself and others around you may change.
