When I spent the day with this guy that I was dating parents for the first time. I wanted to show up my housekeeping skills so I offered to help his mom with the dishes. She washed and had me dry the dishes and I ended up breaking the first glass she gave me.

My advice is don't show all these unnecessary housekeeping skills to your future in laws... it does more harm then good. You will know why when you get married. Better still, take them out for dinner instead of helping them in the kitchen.

Tripped over the dog. The second time I took the screen door off the slider.
However, what tops all was that I was so shy at the family reunion that I often sat by myself and someone (usually my boyfriend's father) had to take a chair, put it in a crowd of people, and say "Okay, you sit here and TALK to people!"
It's also pretty funny how I can get drunk off of one beer. I demonstrated this at Thanksgiving dinner.
Luckily they take it all in good stride.

The first time I was at my girlfriend's house, I went to the bathroom to make dookie. Of course, I had to get a new roll of tp, and somehow while changing it I dropped the spindle-thingy into the toilet. Instead of playing it cool, I mentioned it to them. Her mom made like she was going to go get it, but her dad piped up "Oh no, he'll get that himself".
I ended up marrying the girl. We've been married 15 years.

Back in the bronze age when I was a teenager I fell of the porch because I was drunk.Her dad ran me off and wouldn't let me come back 'tll I sobered up. Boy ! those where the daze !!!
