ok i got a problem. i have a 55 gallon fish tank. in the 55 gallon i got a tiger oscar, 4 convict cichlids, and 2 texas cichlids. i know that this is over stocked but they're small. on this tank i got a whisper 60 power filter. i want to get piranhas so i want to get another filter. so what size tank should i get to put just the tiger oscar in? but i don't know what filter to chose. whats the best and cheapest filter for this size tank? should i get a emperor power filter? another whisper 60 power filter? aqua clear 110 power filter? or what? plz help!

Honestly another 55 would suffice for your oscars only even when they grow. They do not need a 90 gallon tank. Especially if you maintain your tanks. Technically speaking a 20-30 gallon tank for one oscar is also enough room for them to grow and remain healthy. But of course, bigger is always better. Whisper 60 is fine for your 55 gallon. It also will be fine for your new fish. I have to agree with MM here however, untilyou have your other tank up and running, I would hold off on getting your new fish. Inexpensive are the whispers or aquatechs from walmart. I have never had a problem with the whispers that I have used they are quite reliable. the nice thing is you aren't running around looking for two different kinds of replacement pads for two different filters.

A 55 is NOT large enough for a school of pirahna.
You really need at least a 90 for the fish in the 55 now and a tank about that size for the Piranha. If you are on a tight budget and need to cut corners on a filter, you might want to wait it out and just get a larger tank for the fish you have now.

ok, this could nicely be a humorous prank. you're taking a garbage can and fill it approximately 3/4 way with water. You lean this up against your place's door. Knock on the door, run, and cover so which you are going to see it from a distance. whilst the unsuspecting person opens the door the water will fall into their abode flooding it. this could nicely be a very humorous prank. yet are not getting caught. yet another one is to get a distant that works on the biggest t.v. and mute it, take place the quantity, substitute the channel, and change off the capacity do it whilst they're watching their famous instruct. ok- here is one for revenge. it would be terrific to try this someplace the place the guy you're pranking can't get yet another pair of clothing-like tenting as an occasion. What you do is get a field of Bleach and positioned a gaggle of hair in it and depart it there over night. next morning, drain it and chop the hair genuine positive... and it will become itching powder!!! positioned it throughout the different person's outfits

An oscar should really be kept in a large tank, fully grown they require 75+ gallons. If you're going to keep him alone, put in a little bit of gravel and a mirror, perhaps some fake plants, for him to play with. Here's a sight about them
