Who would any of the top 1 or 2 seeds not want to play right now in their 2nd round or Sweet 16 game right now?

Maryland.....a hot team from the best conference....that is just scary.

Not Memphis cause Conf USA is a bunch of high school B-Teams

Winthrop can give someone a run, but they don't have the big men to compete with a team with an Odom like player.

Maryland is complete and healthy and hot.

How about my Maryland Terps? They have won 7 in a row, they swept the state of NC (6-0) and they are playing GREAT TEAM BASKEBALL. They seem to believe in themselves. If Maryland makes a run through the ACC tournament, they have to be thought of as one of the most dangerous teams in the tournament. However, they will probably get a high seed, so let's see what could be a dangerous low seed. Staying with the ACC (if they get in) GA Tech may be a very dangerous 8-10 seed. Outside the ACC there are two teams I'd watch out for. Mich State will probably end up in the same 8-10 range. They have been VERY INCONSITENT this year, but every year they seem to come up big in the NCAA tourney. Arizona has the talent to be a SCARY 7 or 8 seed as well.

to answer the question, memphis wouldn't qualify because they will probably be a 2 seed...the team you don't want to see right now is winthrop, they have so many senior leaders that have been to the tournament before, and they have won 18 straight as well and are capable of making the sweet 16

Tennessee. With a now healthy Chris Lofton in the past month they've knocked off Kentucky (while ranked at #18), Alabama (while ranked at #25) and Florida (while ranked at #4). I look for them to possibly be the team to knock Florida out of the SEC tourney. I know I wouldn't want to play them.

They're also now ranked #22 in the AP.

i would say winthrop is on a huge role and will just keep dominating for a while so if i was a higher seed and faced them in the early rounds i'd be pretty scared
