im so excited, im a grandma AGAIN .. my guppy had 9 tiny babies, was expecting more, due to her extreamly large belly and really dark gravid spot.. she had 9 babies last time also, does that mean anything??

It just probably means she's young.. They start out with a low number of fry and then slowly grows. Nothing fancy I don't think.. well Congrats!!

As Guppie Females mature, they will produce more fry, till they become old and the numbers will drop again.

Just a fluke. The previous post is correct, she's probably just young. Expect larger batches as time goes on.
