What right does anyone have to tell anyone who they can or cannot love? With divorce rates where they are now, we should legalize gar marriage just to compare the divorce between straight and gay marriages in one year. Then we'll find out who's really in love. As for the whole "God's against it" issue, didn't we separate Church and state over two hundred years ago?

let me guess you people saying you dont care about gay marriage do not pay taxes yet
because of a choice people make
man woman
man man
woman woman
you think they should be allowed to marry
1st off if you want to live with the same sex partner then do it but dont tell every one about it
what about kids that see you wrong
biblically it say a man will leave his mother and father and take a wife
next it says a man shall not lay with a man as a man lays with a woman
2 strong arguments for no
why should my taxes go to support something i think is wrong
yes i have queer friends and they know that is what i will call them
now those of you go look up the meaning of the word queer and the word gay not even close
call them homosexuals not gay that is wrong perverting a word in the english language for a groups own use just wrong
and now the finally why do people choose this lifestyle over a normal lifestyle it is a crutch to say their genes are wrong no they are not now the ones they are wanting to be hermaphrodite then yes they are wrong
and yes i expect to be reported for my not popular answer

First off, who said you had to be gay? Couldn't a straight guy marry his buddy? If it's all about two people being in love, I love my friends, and I'm not gay.

That being said, the reason it can never be is because the dictionary defines it as being between a man and a woman. Period!! You cannot change the definition of a word to suit your cause, like Bill Clinton tried to do. Therefore, it can never be marriage.

Second, anyone that had a job with benefits (medical, dental, etc) could just marry anyone that does and totally blow thehell out of the insurance industry. Now, I know this happens today with hetro marriages, but could you imagine if it were a free for all?

I am completely against same sex marriages. It's an abnormal relationship trying to be passed off as normal. Gay means happy so I prefer to call them queers because their behavior is queer. It is against the laws of mankind set down by God in His word. It destroys the fabric of the traditional family and I don't like having it in my face everyday from some source like news, talk shows, etc.

I am competetly against it because it's not the way that God had intended for it to be. If he had then he would of made Adam and Steve instead of Adam and Eve and that is why I'm against Gay or Lesiban relationships let along marriages but if I were to meet someone who was doesn't mean that I'd judge them because I won't.

Love is a beautiful thing and if you can find it, even if it is the same sex, then go for it. Let the gay population have the same rights as everyone else.

Who cares if gays get married or not. If they love each other, then they should be allowed to. If it is a religious thing, then call it a legal union, so they can reap the same benefits of married couples. Tax breaks and so forth.
