manhattan's gotta be 1 or 2. never been to san fran so cant make that call. there are a lot of good gay neighborhoods in manhattan. and the people are open minded and dont care if you are gay (for the most part). tho if you mean lesbians, not sure. there seem to be way more gay guys in nyc than lesbians

in CA we have a few places that you might call the gay capital two of them mainly being San Fransico or West Hollywood but then long beach and palm springs also do have a high rate of gay people living thier also...
