Just wondering, considering this is the 21st Century and all...and please don't say "because we came first". That's no reason.

Because, unfortunately, there are many men who were raised by sexit pig fathers who continued the lie of superiority. i was raised by people who taught me that a man without the balance of a woman in his life was missing half of what he could be.

In the union of man and woman there is a creation of a whole unit of existence that can only exist when the two are joined, and thus flourish , that both parts give and take from to develop the maximum potential inherent in each part that cannot develop if the two aren't joined.

And just because a book says men were first, it doesn't prove it's true. After ll, the book was written by men, and i believe those men were attempting to control a society they believed was out of control; so they created a terrible Go to enforce their fear. There is only one God, and God isn't vengeful or we wouldn't be here. God would have destroyed us for all but destroying the paradise we were given as God's children.
And God sees men and women as equals, always has and always will

Because some men are superior to some women, and vice verse. As the sign says a woman's place is in the HOUSE, and in the Senate, Maybe even in the White House next year.

I don't agree with you at all. I think women in today's society feel superior to the men. My dad was explaining this to me, and it made perfect sense. For example, if a woman hits a man, it's a joke. If a man hits a woman, he's considered a cruel woman abuser. Inequality: women feel superior to men.

Another thing is breast vs. prostate cancer. 100,000 women die of breast cancer each year, and there are funds and donations and charaties to help those women out. 99,000 men die from prostate cancer each year, but you hear NOTHING about it. Again, inequality, therefore making women look superior to men.

Plus, it's more likely for a woman to get into a university or to get a job than a man. Inequality: making women feel superior to men.

In conclusion, I feel it is invalid for that statement to be made based on events I have heard as well as experienced. I'm not talking about every single person, but the majority of "equality" in society just doesn't exist. Just my opinion.

Actually, you've already alluded to it. When you still have people worshiping a story that says a woman (Eve) is responsible for all the suffering in the world (not to mention being made from a mere rib of the man) then you will have men who have internalized a sense of superiority. Way to go religion. Think maybe it's time to grow up spiritually?
(In ancient Greek religion, they had a similar story and the woman was named Pandora.)

A woman can only make a man think he is superior, if she lets him treat her with no respect. Noone, is superior over each other. Bottom line, women who are not being treated with respect, should demand it and expect nothing less. Welcome to the 21st Century.

I would say they think they are superior because that's what their mommies tell them. It's about time they realize they aren't but if it isn't on ESPN I'm not sure they'll get it. This doesn't go for all men...there are a few good ones out there. Tell me where you find them.

If you're talking about Sandstorm, he doesn't know any better, lmao! If you're talking about real men, my hubby doesn't think he's superior and most men don't any more. It's just that the handful that do make all the noise and make it seem that way.

Well, not all men think like cavemen. It's just that the few who do think that way, have big mouths. Most men know that HUMANS are EQUAL. Where women are weaker, men have strengths. Where men are weaker, women have strengths. They balance each other out.

I don't know any men like that.

All the men I know respect the women in their lives, and if they don't like a woman, it is because of the woman, not because she is a woman.

I think you are hanging out with the wrong kind of man!

Its true, not all of us feel that way... but at the same time, there is still a fairly active old boys club running the show... combine that with a high level of immigration and certain cultural traits... and blamo, there it is.

plus, you have to remember... alot of men fear the power women weild... the property between her legs can bring alot of men to their knees (literally)
