i am wondering if it is possible if you are a young teen if you can run faster by some kind of strenght conditioning courese like lifting leg weights ect. like say you can run 10 miles an hour but want to run a low 4.40

Strength conditioning will help. Try those light 2lb wrap around weights on your ankles or any other very light weight (anywhere on your body) while running. This will help strengthen your gait.

If you are talking about wanting to get faster sprinting then you will need to work on short twitch muscle development. If you are wanting to run faster distances then you will need to wok on your conditioning as well as your strength.

It has been a long time since I ran track in high school (20+ years now), so there may be more developed exercises out there. But the above listed helped me gain on the field.
