heal as in the hole fills in? yes, because it is a new peircing your ear is trying to heal itself whether there is stud in it or not. The stud is what keeps the hole from filling in completely and just healing around it. When the ear is newly peirced a scab forms on the inside (part of any healing process) so yes it can heal in 3 weeks.

yes it can, it doesn't take long to heal. Have 3 holes in my ear and they healed right away.

No it takes atleast two months and then it is still pretty sore so you should leave it alone. and if you want it to heal fasted make sure to take good care of it and clean it twice a day withthe stuff they give you or peroxide.

I dont think so- if it does, then the person who peirced it didn't do it right.
