Im guessing no...But just wondering if its possible?

Some of the US channels and the European channels do overlap, so yes you may be able to connect to SOME but certainly not all of the hotspots. The best thing to do is just pick up a Eurpoean wifi card or USB adapter. Then you will have all the channels and it wont bother your US adapter at all.

By the way Europe is way ahead of the US on hotspots. They actually have more and readily available ones for public use.

I believe wifi is kinda standardized so as long as you are able to find a free hotspot or get the security code/passwords you should be able to connect just fine.

Not as much as U.S. but every airport in the world is installing hotspots.
